KERNS HOME - METH, MONEY & CARS
Meth homes do not have to be run down eyesores. Take the news story of this Kearns, Utah drug bust. I think that the dead give-away to me would be a 15 year old with a car featuring $30,000.00 in upgrades and his initials embedded with diamonds. We always like to think that we would know it if this was going on next door, but the truth is that we really don’t know what is going on behind the doors of our neighbors.

Dan Rascon has more.

A family of seven was living at the house where the drug bust took place including a husband and wife and five children.

Neighbors say they didn't see lots of people coming and going. According to investigators behind this couple was a money house for drug trafficking from Mexico to Arizona to Kearns, Utah.

Who would have thought that inside this nice family home in Kearns there was a 1/2 million dollars in cash about 30 thousand dollars in Meth, four weapons and in the driveway very expensive cars.

"We believe that house was used as a money house storing money stashing money, moving money from Utah back to Mexico," said DEA agent Michael Root.

It wasn't your typical trashed drug house.

"This was a meticulous house, brand new plasma big screen TV, LCD TV's...basically high value purchased items," said agent Root.

Investigators also confiscated eight very expensive cars.

"Living the very fast life that came to a pretty serious crash," said agent Root.

The Garza's both covered up as they arrived in federal court on charges of possession of Meth with intent to distribute.
